Rapid prototyping

Discovery workshops

UX designers and the product owner led two discovery sessions (within in which I was a participant) to define the kind of information people wanted to see in order to decide whether to attend an event or in order to plan for and travel to an event at the University of Nottingham

Low fidelity

Following the workshops and taking on board user needs and business requirements, I worked with UX designers and developers to sketch out how the events might look, concentrating on the events:

  • landing page
  • search functionality
  • listing page
  • event information page

I worked collaboratively with the UX designer to digitise our sketches using MS Whiteboard for circulation with stakeholders.

The UX designer used InVision to create an interactive prototype.

High fidelity

The UX designer used InVision to create an interactive prototype.

While prototyping was in progress, developers were busy building the solution in Contensis (the University’s content management system).

This project is still in progress and expected to complete in Spring 2020.
